February

FEBRUARY

Well a lot sure has happened since I last blogged! A whole month has gone by! Its been an amazing month but also highly emotional too! My mind has been all over the place! But I've had family visit, I also went home and got the chance to see my hometowns epic new spoons! And here it is: Looks more like a roman temple. This used to be a chapel back in the day and more recently a bargain store which didn't use the full potential of what now is a stunning building!

Back here in Lowestoft I moved rooms into the penthouse of the house share, its massive and it is the coolest and biggest room I have ever had. I can finally spread out all my junk and display all my favourite things, including maybe a bit of a rock collection (geologynerd.)

I've also been cooking up a storm in the kitchen making some epic Potato skins, with spicy turkey mince, tomato, pepper, cheese and sour cream filling!!!! :P And this mahoosive Spag Bol filled calzone monster, which could have filled a family of four!

MEGAFOOD

Now I will do another blog shortly on how this Winter has been the stormiest and wettest on record! Also how this has meant that there has been many rare sinkholes developing across the UK. Here are a few pictures I have taken over the last month. Lowestoft promenade has been battered by strong winds. There hasn't been much wave damage, but the strength of the wind has blown the sand into huge dunes which have been swallowing up the benches, bins, beach huts and walls! This was after it had been dug back out again a few weeks before!

And this was the following weekend. Finally, scenes of calm the start of a period of quieter and less stormy weather. I love how stunning the sky and sea looks here at Southwold!

What happened since we last spoke...

But since we spoke, Phillip Seymour Hoffman passed away, I remember him mostly for his role in Twister and Mission Impossible 3! Was a very talented actor! RIP

ROLLING BOULDER

These shocking pictures from Italy showed the devastation caused by a huge boulder that broke apart and rolled down a hill and destroyed a family farm. Luckily no one was injured in this incident but jeez look at the size of the boulders!!

GRAVITY
I got chance to see Gravity which was amazing and the 3d was just out of this world! Would definitely recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it! So happy they won awards for it! Speaking of awards:

BASTILLE BRIT WINNERS

Bastille won the Best British Breakthrough act to my delight! Along with a bunch of my other favourite artists and enjoyed the whole show including the performances, especially Bastille and Rudimentals!

HEROES REBORN
Amazing news was announced yesterday! Heroes an amazing American TV show from back in 2006 which was hugely popular but which lost itself with the writers strike and was cancelled a few seasons later. Well its back! The writer is back on board and NBC have announced that in 2015 a new 15 episode season will be released. Starring a new cast and storyline. I cannot wait, there was so much potential for this and it was what could be described to kick off all these hero spin off films!

GAME OF THRONES
Another trailer for Game Of Thrones has been released along with a 15 minute preview!

BELIEVE
And finally, a brand new TV show is coming to the UK screens! By JJ Abrams (LOST, Star Wars, Mission Impossible 3) and Alfonso Cuaron (Gravity) have made an epic new show which has got critics buzzing. "Believe" follows the story of a young girl who has developed powers that many people want to manipulate. It starts on 27th March on Watch here in the UK and here is the trailer:

So an exciting month but how is it almost March already?!!

Well I have an exciting month ahead and I will be back soon with another blog! Along with that of the weather :P
