Singapore

So today I thought I'd talk to you about one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Somewhere which I have been lucky enough to visit! In fact this time 2 years ago, in 2011 I was probably there right now!

 

Singapore - The City from the Future.

 

So I spent three days in Singapore and I wish I had longer there was so much to see and do! With 5.3 million people living in Singapore this city could be described as relatively small compared to some of the large expanses we see around the world.

 

But this city is so futuristic! With its automated underground railway, with trains arriving every 2 minutes in cool, clean and modern stations. Then when you emerge onto the surface you could be surrounded by massive skyscrapers downtown.

 

 

 

There are many different sections to the city, the docks, downtown, Little India, China Town and the shopping districts! You can tell that many of the people have a lot of money to spend, with hundreds of jewellery shops side by side by designer brands. 

 

 

Odd shaped buildings line the dock, this one looking like a flower, being a museum inside.



 

A large open air theatre can be seen on the dock with what looked like would be an amazing show in an amazing location.



 

Just yards from the skyscrapers are streets with mere three story buildings with stunning architecture and these Chinese temples!

 

 

The shopping centres were massive and there was many of them, this one looked epic and so were the prices! I couldn't afford nothing in there!

 

 

This building looks like someone has stuck a large ship on top of three skyscrapers! Underneath is a huge shopping centre and the skyscrapers comprise of hotels and offices. The Ship like platform is a viewing deck, posh bar and a very very expensive hotel!

 

 

At the top you can marvel at the city below, you can see the skyscrapers downtown and right across the city.

 



 

 As if the city wasn't epic enough there is a whole island nearby named "Sentosa Island" which is where the fun and partying is at! There is a Universal Studios theme park, water park, Cable Car, Viewing platforms, golf courses and hotels.

 

 

 

Not only  that this is ten minutes from the city, the beaches of Sentosa Island!

 

It is the perfect city! A City from the Future!

I was so lucky to visit and hope to return one day.
