Autumn Storm Season starts in the UK

Well it looks like our lovely summer weather has well and truly dissapeared, as this weekend sees the first Autumn Storm of the season.
The Met Office has issued an early weather warning for strong winds and heavy rain across the British Isles over the weekend with severe gales expected on Sunday.
Northern Areas will see wind speeds of up to 50mph after a deep area of low pressure makes its way from the atlantic.

Showers are expected through the weekend with more persistant and heavy rainfall for Scotland and Northern England with Cumbia expected to see 60mm on Sunday. Temperatures will stay around the mid to low teens but with a strong wind it will feel cooler. There is also another depession brewing behind ready for next week. The start of the more stormy weather follows one of the hottest and sunniest summers for seven years.

Britains first "Autumn storm" comes at the same time as the unusually late, first Hurricane of the 2013 Hurricane season. Humberto became the first storm to reach Hurricane force on Wednesday though it was expected to weaken as it neared land.
