Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Hapus

What a great way to end a very Welsh week after being in the field all week in South Wales and travel across the country twice in the last week, St David's day is a great way to end the week!

St David's day is the feast day of Saint David the patron of Wales, in remembrance of the death of St David. It is thought that he died way back in 589. It was in the 18th Century when the date was declared a national day of celebration in Wales. The symbol of St David is a Leek and is an ingredient in "Cawl" along with Lamb a traditional Welsh stew.

Tonight I'm off out for drinks to celebrate with Welsh food, drinks and bands!

 lloniannau - cheers

Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Hapus - Happy St David's Day!

Have a great day Welshies
