So from last Monday Bastille's latest single "Pompeii" has been available to buy from shops and online and so far it's doing very well reaching number two in the midweek charts with only a few thousand copies behind Justin Timberlakes "Mirrors"!! Sooo get downloading, don't do wait for the album release this weekend, download the single first!!!! It would be great to get a band like Bastille to number one in the UK! It's an amazing song, probably my favourite of 2013 so far.

The Name
Bastille is also the name of a fortress in Paris built in the 14th century and used in the 17th–18th centuries as a state prison.
