Tonight on itv at 9pm is a new drama called Lightfields. Its a follow up to a previous drama called Marchlands which was shown in February 2011 on the same channel.
Marchlands was a five part supernatural drama telling the story of 3 families living in the same house at three different time periods: 1968, 1987 and 2010. The three families are linked by the spirit of a young girl who dies mysteriously in 1968. It looked at how the three families were similar and their connections. Lightfields has the same theme with 3 families living in the same house at different time periods: 1944, 1976 and 2013. They too are linked by a spirit and are affected by mysterious circumstances and events. This too is a five-part drama. The last series was really good and in places quite spooky, the acting was great and the twisting and turning storyline always kept you guessing. The familiar faces too were good to see in a supernatural show and this series there are too some familiar faces.
